Inside the Heros

The Holy Name "Inside the Heroes" Speaker Series features people who have overcome incredible odds enabling them to inspire people around them to set their own lofty goals and achieve them.

We are running the series because we want our parishioners and all Calgarians to recognize and be reminded that despite the much publicized turmoil in the world there are so many people that have as their goal "to make the world a better place". There are genuine Canadian heroes out there!

The next "Inside the Heroes" series will be held in the Bishop Carroll Theater June 23rd at 7 PM. The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for students, Tickets can be purchased at the Holy Name office during the week and at the Bishop Carroll box office at 6:30 PM. the evening of the event. All profits go towards the Holy Name Parish Building Fund.

June 23 "Inside the Heroes" will feature:

DR. LUCY MILLER: the dynamic Superintendent of the Calgary Catholic School System. She will discuss her plans that will directly impact your children who are students in the system.

THOMAS HICKEY: Captain of the Canadian World Champion Junior Hockey team and first round draft choice of the Los Angeles Kings. His proud parents are members of Holy Name.
